Joan Woodward, chair of the scholarship committee recommended that Tanah Lowe be awarded $500 for the 2017-18 school year and received approval. The meat will be donated to El Grito Headstart and the Home Ec teachers at Snell and Cliff schools. It was voted to close the rented storage unit and move everything to a building on the Hunt Ranch. This will save the group almost $1000 a year and relieve fundraising issues. Kathy Davis gave a report on the brand sign on the Cliff Hwy. It can be repaired but it will be a temporary fix as the wood is rapidly deteriorating. Linda distributed the new personalized aprons in time for the Fair and a picture was taken. JoAnn Miller is working with the Grant County Fair Board on a fundraiser “Cash Party”. Copper would set up and receive the proceeds from a silent auction. After everyone was reminded that annual dues are due October 1st, the meeting adjourned.
