We had a GREAT Executive Committee Meeting today! We are moving forward. We have confirmed our slate of officers who are willing to serve for 2015. Elections will be held in October. We are confirming location and band for our 2015 Shindig. If all goes well, we will have a Kentucky Derby theme next year. We don’t want to put out the date just yet! We have a new County Fair ChairBelle and are excited to see what she has planned. Next meeting will be August 12th! More details prior to the meeting!

CowBelles at Downtown Rodeo Days yesterday at the Silver City Farmer’s Market. We will have more photos to share later this week. Thank you to everyone that stopped by!

A HUGE thank you to Robin Gierhart and Robert “Shoofly” Shufelt for donating Shoofly prints to our Scholarship fundraiser every year! Take a look at these amazing drawings depicting “The Cowboy Way!” With our CCB Scholarships, we are able to help several local college students who are pursuing an agricultural degree.

Mark your calendar!  The date for the Copper CowBelles 2014 Shindig is Saturday-April 12th.

We have reserved the Flame Convention Center and booked The Yarbrough Band.

The CowBelles leadership have selected the theme “SPRING ROUND-UP” and are well on their way to planning the annual event. Make plans to join the CowBelles for an evening of dancing, making new friends and renewing old acquaintences.

The event will be a dinner, dance and silent auction as it has been in the past.

We are working on confirming our caterer, getting auction items, and printing tickets and posters.
